This year’s Ramp Riot introductory video was a special project for this year’s media team. The media team has grown substantially from last year and the enthusiasm was off the charts! As a group, the students decided that they wanted to do a train theme to play off of the game name of “Logomotion.” Coach Scott Richardson worked with the students in Adobe After Effects to portray various scenes related to train imagery. Here are the sketches that we worked off of:
One of our students found the perfect track for the video, courtesy of the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack. Scott worked to loop it in a way that was more conducive to the video and together we all edited the pieces together in Adobe Premiere.
One important aspect to note is the train in the very beginning. Special thanks to our students Andy and Dave for working really really hard on animating a full out 3d train!
