The 2014 season was one of our best so far! We worked hard during and after build season to create a strong, well-performing machine for Aerial Assist℠. For the third year in a row, we won a district event, and then traveled to Rochester, New York for our travel regional. At the MAR Championship we teamed up with two other excellent teams and swept the finals. We performed well at the World Championship in St. Louis and got to the finals in our division. All members of Miss Daisy will look back on the 2014 season with fondness!
Aerial Assist℠ is played by two competing Alliances of three robots each on a flat 25’ x 54’ foot field, straddled by a truss suspended just over five feet above the floor. The objective is to score as many balls in goals as possible during a two (2)-minute and 30-second match. The more Alliances score their ball in their goals, and the more they work together to do it, the more points their Alliance receives.
